There are some odours that take us deliciously right back to our childhood: your mother’s perfume, hot cocoa, a baked jacket potato on a Winter’s evening, and … orange-blossom. French King Louis XIV is said to have often sprayed it on his pillows. So as we’re nostalgic (and not just for winter jacket potatoes) this orange-blossom stirred yoghurt seemed to us a sweetly obvious choice. We hope your child will think so too.
The timeless fragrance of orange-blossom has enjoyed unrivalled popularity down the centuries. Made popular by the expansion of the Islamic empire, then introduced into Provence and Sicily by the Crusades, it soon won over all the royal Courts of Europe: doubtless part of the reason for that was its reputation as a miraculous oil claimed to have anti-ageing and relaxing properties!
