Formerly acclaimed by our grandparents, tirelessly cooked in broth and soup, the leek resembled Georges Brassens’s great songs: timeless but still slightly old-fashioned. In order to give this refined and distinguished vegetable a swing, our Chef made it travel to unexplored regions: a spoonful of cream and a pinch of curry and here is our delightfully extravagant leek.
Leeks won their first stripes in Wales. Used as recognition signs by the Welsh, they were worn on the hats during the battle against the Saxons. Thus enabling to win a decisive victory, leeks became the country’s emblem. After disappearing into oblivion during a while, their subtle and fragrant aroma brought them back into gourmets’ cuisine!
Why is this little dish so good?
Because some vegetables are definitely more reassuring than others. Is it due to their sweetness or to the way our mums cooked them? We decided to mix both, with a perfect creamy fondue spiced up at the last moment with a pinch of curry and just enough cod. Love it tender…
Because in our fondue, there are only organic products and MSC cod (sustainable fishing). And we chose them organic to guarantee your child wholesome and environmentally-friendly products: none of our products has been mistreated with GMOs, pesticides or chemical fertilizers during its rearing or cultivation.
Because in accordance with current regulations, our flexible sachet is free from bisphenol A and phthalates. And above all because it requires much shorter sterilization of the ingrédients than conventional baby-food jars: in the end, flavors are better preserved!
